It was simply
amazing the vast difference that is too LOUD not to be IGNORED between today
6th Oct 2011 and last week's 1st Oct 2011 - for us who call ourselves MUSLIMS.
While today's social network media was fully buzzing with wishes for the Late
STEVE JOBS – last week was total silence on the martyrdom of SYAHEED IMAM
SHEIKH ANWAR AWLAQI – all I got was an email from my son!
Don’t get me
wrong, I LOVE Steve Jobs for what he had done to how I conduct my wordly daily
affairs (see http://www.kenrockwell.com/apple/steve-jobs-medical-leave-2011.htm
for one of best straightforward piece on Steve Jobs the last time he was on
Medical Leave) – and we’ve seen the kind of APPLE without Steve Jobs, many
years prior to that. BUT HEY!!!! The key words was ‘WORDLY’....
AND in the
words of the SYAHEED Imam Sheikh Anwar Awlaqi – EFFORTS should be proportionate
to IMPACT/OUTCOME – so, we live in this world probably for about 75 years – but
the AKHIRAH would be forever aka INFINITY – so do your maths guys!
AND, the
contribution from the Sheikh indeed was for the Everlasting Life that no-one
(whether you believe it or not) will ever get away from – in fact, it can be
called the ONLY sure thing!
AND, if you
have to ask WHO is this Anwar Awlaqi – sigh........
Perhaps it’s time.
So, how much AKHIRAH have we TRADED for our fleeting DUNYA???
